2008 Proses Sol Gel Pada Pembentukan Senyawa BaFe12O19 Novrita Idayanti, Dedi, A. Nuruddin Metoda sol gel telah diaplikasikan pada proses pembuatan senyawa BaFe12O19. Senyawa ini termasuk material magnet permanen yang biasa disebut dengan magnet Barium Ferit. Bahan baku yang digunakan adalah Besi Nitrat Fe(NO3)3, Barium Nitrat (Ba(NO3)2), Polivinil Alkohol (PVA), Amonium Hidroksida (NH4OH), dan Akuades. Semua bahan baku yang digunakan dilarutkan dalam Akuades sehingga menjadi solution dan ditambahkan Amonium sedikit demi sedikit sampai dengan pH 9 sehingga membentuk gel. Proses sol gel dilakukan pada temperatur kamar, setelah gel terbentuk dikeringkan (drying) pada temperatur 100oC, kemudian milling selama 6 jam dan kalsinasi pada temperatur 300, 500, 800, 900 dan 1000oC. Recruitment pattern of juvenile fishes into Pami River estuary, West Papua, Indonesia (S 00.80970, E.134.06050),was studied from July to October 2005. The study purposes were 1) to observe fish diversity in family level, 2) to observe fish abundance of each family, 3) to observe recruitment pattern related to abundance and tidal rhythm. Samples were collected using line transect method and identification procedure were done based on morphological characteristics. A total of 19 Families were identified, namely Acanthuridae, Ambassidae, Anguillidae, Apogonidae,Carangidae, Chlopsidae, Clupeidae, Congeridae, Elopidae, Engraulidae, Gerreidae, Gobiidae, Mugillidae,Platycephalidae, Callyonimidae, Siganidae, Syngnathidae, Terapontidae, Tetraodontidae. Motor bakar konvensional masih menggunakan bahan bakar fosil dalam proses pembakarannya. Bahan bakar yang dibutuhkan motor bakar konvensional lebih banyak daripada yang dibutuhkan oleh penggerak dengan sistem hibrida. 2008 LEAD-ACID BATTERY PACK DESIGN FOR HYBRID CAR Sunarto Kaleg, Abdul Hapid, Kadek Heri Sanjaya, M. Redho Kurnia The objective of this research is to design lead-acid battery pack for hybrid car. The battery pack design focused on construction of rectangle profiled steel 3 mm, steel sheet 3mm and combination of both. The construction strength of the battery pack design then analysed using computer software (CAD), thus the strength of the composition of rectangle-profiled steel and steel sheet and their combination would be worthy for the hybrid car. Iqbal Setiadi, Charles W. Linkem, Djoko T. Iskandar, Umilaela, David P. Bickford, Awal Riyanto, Mumpuni, and Jimmy A. McGuire A new species of Cyrtodactylus is described from Sulawesi and the adjacent island of Kabaena, Indonesia. This new species is the largest Cyrtodactylus known from Sulawesi and differs from all other congeners by the absence of precloacal and femoral pores, enlarged femoral scales or pubic groove; medium to large size (up to 113.6 mm snoutvent length) and dark purple dorsum with irregular dark bands and yellow spots. Only two other species of Cyrtodactylus are currently described from Sulawesi and surrounding islands. 2008 Manufacture of oriented board using the mild steam treated some plant fiber bundles Sasa Sofyan Munawar, Kenji Umemura and Shuichi Kawai This study investigated the effects of mild steam treatment (0.1 MPa for 2 h) of natural bio-based fibers and orientation (0 and 90) of those fibers in various fiberboards. Ramie bast, pineapple leaf, and sansevieria fiber bundles were used as materials. The composite fiberboards were prepared using phenolformaldehyde (PF) resin. To investigate the effect of mild steam treatment on wettability, contact angles of PF resin to the fiber were measured. 2008 Rancang Bangun Load Cell untuk Alat Uji Kekerasan Brinell Djuhana, Budhy Basuki Load cell alat uji kekerasan Brinell telah dibuat. Load cell tersebut terdiri dari sebuah batang dai bahan baja dengan ukuran tertentu. Dibagian ujung batang dipasang bola baja sebagai indentor dan dibagian tengah batang starin gauge. Strain gauge dihubungkan dengan rangkain jembatan wheatstone dan menghasilkan nilai strain. Kemudian load cell yang dibuat diuji tekan dengan alat ukur gaya standar 3 ton gaya.
